Don’t Wait For Your Guests

Whenever you invite people to a local financial freedom seminar, do not wait around the front door to see if they are coming or not.

When you do this, you are not showing the right posture. When you wait around, it tells your guests you need them.

They are grown people and can find the meeting. Watch the video to see what not to do.

How to Edify Right

Introduce your guest to a TOP leader (hopefully, someone you are working with). Make sure you edify (build up) them in front of your guest. EX: “Mike, this is Craig Sweet, one of the Top leaders in our business. He has helped so many people make money and he is working with me directly, so we will all be working together.” (Assume your guest is already in.) The leader should edify you back to the guest. I call it “full loop edification” because it should come back to you.

If your upline is not in the business anymore, go find someone else to work with you because you can’t build your business without someone else’s help. Well, you could but only to a certain level.

Ex: Married with two children

“Do Not Over Expose Your Business”

 

 Once you make a contact and they seem interested, do not try to explain everything to them right then.

If you expose too much information, they will make a decision based on what you have just told them. A lot of people think that is the best way to contact people, but you want to leave them being curious of what you have. As a result, they will be more receptive. You want to expose your business from start to finish, all at one time.

If they are married, try to have both, the husband and wife, available.

 Once you have mentioned your business and they ask questions, let them know that it is not the right time to explain, but you will get back with them and give them the information.

Find something in common…football, shopping, golfing, working out, special events, baseball, etc.

Once you find something in common with a person and they seem friendly, you may mention you own a business and you’re expanding in the local area. See if they would happen to know anyone that might be interested in making some extra income. Here are a couple of options:

 (1.)  You can say something like this, “I can show you how it works and you can tell your friends about it.”
(2.)  Or say “You can give them my information.”

Note: Sometimes they are interested themselves but just don’t want to tell you at that particular time.

Here are some suggestions on where you can meet people:

  1. Spiritual organizations…church, moss, etc.
  2. Work shops, classes and seminars
  3. College associations
  4. Small business development centers (SBDC)
  5. Chamber of Commerce
  6. Sporting events
  7. Rotary, Lions, Elks and Moose Clubs
  8. Trade organizations
  9. State and National trade shows
  10. Cultural events
